Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists have been arrested from the Chhatru sub-division of the Kishtwar district. Along with this, the security forces have also succeeded in recovering a huge quantity of ammunition from their possession. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Ashfaq Qom Tak resident Pasarkot and Tausif Giri resident Askal. A case was registered on August 24 at Chhatru police station regarding his links with Hizbul Mujahideen, a terrorist organization operating in Anantnag.

After the information, a joint search operation was carried out by Kishtwar Police, Army, and CRPF in the forest area of Nayad Gam Chhatru on the night of 25 August and both the terrorists were arrested and after interrogation, they disclosed that they had raided Chatru’s forest named Pingnal. Some arms and ammunition are kept in the area.

On the information received from them, the terrorist hideout was demolished and a huge quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from there. Although the security forces are also very alert, for the last three decades, there have been many incidents, which are becoming very difficult to control. Mohd Amin Sarudi alias Jahangir Sarudi is active for the last three spectators and security forces are not getting any success.

Recently, the government has also announced a reward of Rs 30 lakh for three terrorists, and posters have been put up in the city that whoever informs or searches for him will be given a reward of Rs 30 lakh and his name is also secret. will be kept. The names of two more Riyaz Ahmed and Mudasir have also been added to him. It is getting information from sources that terrorist Saruri is making new recruitments to make the organization more active. Arresting 5 terrorists in two weeks is a big success for the security forces.
