Ananya Jamwal, a student who protested against the medical students celebrating the victory of the Pakistani team in Srinagar, has started receiving death threats. The Kashmir Police had registered two separate cases under sections of UAPA and IPC against students of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) and Government College (GMC) in connection with the celebration of victory. After this, the matter is continuously heating up.

On Sunday, a video of students of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar celebrating the victory of the Pakistan team in the T20 World Cup went viral. After this, the Kashmir Police registered a case under UAPA. Now angered by this, students and other organizations have started targeting non-Kashmiris on social media.

Police informer being told
