Terrorist Plot To Terrorize Kashmir Failed, IED Recovered Near A Railway Crossing In Naugam
The IED has been found near the railway crossing at Naugam in Kashmir. Traffic on the national highway has been stopped. Also, a large number of security forces have been deployed. The help of the Prevention Squad is being sought to disarm the IED.
An official said that traffic was stopped on the Pantha Chowk-Naugam route of Srinagar after the explosives were found on Monday. This explosive is found just when train services are to be started in Kashmir after a long time.
The officer said the CRPF’s ROP (Road Opening Party) and the police spotted a suspicious object barely a hundred meters from the Naugam railway station. The squad was called for an investigation. He said that traffic has been stopped on Pantha Chowk-Naugam road for the safety of people and passengers.
Recently, the IG of Kashmir Zone gave information about the landmines of the terrorists. The IG said that the terrorists have changed the strategy. Now IEDs have started to be used more. The police are ready to deal with this changed strategy.
