Now pilgrims going on Chardham and Hemkund Sahib Yatra will have to get a trip card made for four-wheelers as well as motorcycles. The process has also been started by the Transport Department regarding the trip card.

A trip card is also being added by the experts of NIC in the website prepared by the Government, Government, and Transport Department regarding Chardham and Hemkund Sahib Yatra.

Officials of the Transport Department believe that with the implementation of the trip card, it will be possible to find out how many pilgrims and how many vehicles went on Chardham and Hemkund Sahib Yatra. RTO (Enforcement) Sandeep Saini said that along with collecting the details of passengers going on Chardham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib Yatra, the details of trains will also be collected.

Earlier, only four-wheelers were being collected on Chardham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib Yatra. Now, provision is being made that online details of pilgrims going by motorcycles should also be collected.

The fee to be paid for making a trip card
RTO (Enforcement) Sandeep Saini told that the pilgrims will also have to deposit the prescribed fee for getting the trip card. At present, a provision of Rs 20 was made for the trip card, but now a proposal has been sent to the headquarters to increase it to Rs 50.

Frequent vehicles will also be monitored
Sandeep Saini told that there are many such travel agents who take the pilgrims to Chardham Yatra by private vehicles. By doing this, he is saved from all the departmental processes, but now such provisions are being made that such private vehicles will be marked which go on the Chardham Yatra again and again.
