A meeting of the state cabinet will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The proposals of various departments will be discussed in the meeting to be held in the state secretariat from 5 pm.

Proposal to give the benefit of Atal Ayushman Yojana for state employees
Cabinet approval may be given on an increase in the honorarium of Anganwadi workers. In the last meeting, the cabinet had authorized the Chief Minister for this. The cabinet can take a decision on this proposal in the meeting on Thursday.

Apart from this, a proposal to give the benefit of Atal Ayushman Yojana for the state employees on the lines of the health scheme of the central government will also come in the cabinet. A proposal to relax the promotion (relaxation) of employees can also come in the cabinet.

Along with this, proposals for employee manuals related to other departments, including amendments to Nursing Recruitment Rules, can also come in the cabinet.

Salary hike to sub-divisional workers
At the same time, in the cabinet meeting held earlier, the honorarium of 22 thousand Upal employees and 12500 ASHA workers was increased. The honorarium of 7791 village heads was increased from Rs. 1500 per month to Rs. 3500. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, 29 proposals of various departments were discussed, out of which 26 proposals were approved and three proposals were postponed.

The cabinet had approved the purchase of three lakh tablets for secondary education and higher education students. For this, a procurement committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Secretary of School Education.

Students in Doon and Haldwani Medical Colleges will get the facility of cheap studies on giving a bond of service in the state. The state cabinet had also taken an in-principle decision on this. The Health and Medical Department was instructed to make a detailed proposal for this.
