Uttarakhand becomes the first state in the country where MBBS fee will be the lowest

Dehradun. Dhami cabinet put its stamp on 17 major decisions today. Government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal gave information about the cabinet decision

The Dhami cabinet has reduced the MBBS fee from 4 lakhs to 1 lakh 45 in 18 government medical colleges. This fee is the lowest in the country.

1. It was decided to re-implement the Uttarakhand Government Servants Relaxation in Eligible Service Rules 2010 for promotion.

2. Under the Sohan Singh Jina Government Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Almora, according to the standards, 197 additional posts of faculty members were created and increased.

3. Approval of conciliation committee of independent experts for investors, industrialists, contractors, lessees in relation to the projects of Uttarakhand government organization, arbitration.

4. Sanction of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. Chhappb as the state executive body for various construction works of government departments.

5. Sanction for restructuring/restructuring of posts under Single Window System to various branches of Agricultural Services Group Category B.

6. Approval in an increase in incentive amount to 12018 Asha facilitators working in the state. In place of the permissible incentive amount of Rs 50 per visit (total 20 trips) i.e. Rs 1000 per ASHA facilitator, an additional increase of Rs 2000 will be made, on which a total of 1 crore 45 lakh 44 thousand additional expenditure will be incurred.

7. In order to make the medical treatment effective under the State Government Health Scheme to all the government employees and pensioners in the state, various demands have been approved regarding the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojna.

8. Uttarakhand Stone Crusher Screening Plant, Mobile Stone Crusher, Mobile Screening Plant, Pulverizer Plant, Hot Mix Plant, Readymix Plant, approval of new disobedience policy 2021 by amending the permit policy 2020.

9. Decision to promulgate Uttarakhand River Dredging Policy 2021 in supersession of Uttarakhand River Training Policy 2020.

10. Decision to promulgate Rules 2021 in supersession of Uttarakhand Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transport, and Storage) Rules, 2020.

11. To expedite the provision of free pre-loaded tablets to the students of classes 10 and 12 in secondary education, government schools, the change in the conditions related to e-tendering has been approved.

12. Amendment in the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Tourism Self-employment Scheme Rules, 2002. Simplification of subsidy provisions approved.

13. The period of the mandate to give the right of bhumidhari to the leaseholders/occupiers of class 3 and class 4 land has been extended from November 2020 to 2022.

14. Decision to promulgate Uttarakhand Women and Child Development Subordinate Supervisor Service Manual.

15. The exemption limit for all types of late fees for drinking water and sewer facility has been increased from December 31, 2021, to 2022.

16. Approval to hold the third session of Uttarakhand Fourth Vidhan Sabha 2021 in Gairsain for two days on 29th and 30th November 2021.

17. Approval to give fruits, dry fruits, and eggs for two days a week under the Chief Minister’s Women’s Nutrition Scheme.

Apart from this, in the decision taken at the level of Chief Minister, it was decided to give 4800-grade pay to non-gazetted state employees as a maximum of Rs 7000 for 30 days and Rs 1184 as an ad-hoc bonus for daily wage earners, the benefit of the said bonus is more than 1,60,000. Employees will get, for which an additional expenditure of Rs 130 crore will be incurred.
