In such a situation, while respecting the sentiments of the devotees at this time of crisis, the Uttarakhand government is preparing to offer a virtual darshan of Chardham for the devotees. By which people sitting at home will be able to see Chardham. In this regard, Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj also discussed with Honorable Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. On which the said suggestion was also justified by the Chief Minister.

By arranging the virtual darshan of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, devotees from all over the country wishing to visit the four dhams will be able to leave the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and offer prayers through online darshan and audio of the rest of the temple premises.

On Thursday, Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj spoke to the CEO of Chardham Devasthanam Ravinath Raman and directed them to arrange an online darshan by writing a letter. The tourism minister said that keeping in mind the safety of pilgrims from India and abroad, it has been decided by the state government to postpone Chardham. Respecting the spirit of the devotees, instructions have been given to make arrangements to have a virtual darshan of Chardham. With which the pilgrims will be able to perform virtual darshan of Chardham along with worship and worship and perform aarti during the Corona period.

Along with this, Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj appealed to the people of the state and said that they should apply the corona vaccine when their turn comes. To serve the country in this difficult time, take advantage of the vaccine. Use masks sanitize etc. while making proper distance.

Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj expressed grief over the incident of cloudburst in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Devprayag, and Wednesday at the Scissor Dham a few days ago. In view of the above events, the Tourism Minister wrote a letter to the Director Meteorological Center Dehradun and directed to be informed about the functioning of the radars.

The tourism minister said that the state government will work towards strengthening the system by compiling the information of this incident on Doppler radar and the information of the concerned department in the Garhwal and Kumaon region. So that the loss due to natural disasters can be reduced. Expressing grief over the cloudburst incident, Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said that the rescue team is doing relief work at the scene of Scissor Dham. The Honorable Chief Minister pledges to provide relief to the people affected by the disaster in the shortest possible time. The government is committed to this. He also said that all possible help is being provided by the government to the rescue team. So that relief and rescue work can be done at a rapid pace.
