Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami affirmed that the people of Uttarakhand crave both economic progress and lasting stability. He pledged that his administration is steering the state’s development agenda to reflect that dual aspiration, ensuring that welfare schemes reach every citizen.

Dhami reiterated the party’s guiding maxim: “Nation First, Organization Second, Individual Third.” He explained that this hierarchy shapes every policy decision aimed at uplifting Uttarakhand.

Central Leadership and Border Development

Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s deep ties with the state, Dhami noted the premier’s 28 visits since taking office. He added that the centre has intensified focus on frontier districts, especially after the PM christened Mana as India’s ‘First Village.’

Tourism and Sustainable Growth

Under the Prime Minister’s guidance, Uttarakhand has climbed to the top spot in the NITI Aayog Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index. The state also enjoys nationwide accolades for its tourism offerings, ranging from film‑location appeal to adventure sports and destination weddings.

Driving Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship

With the vision of a developed India by 2047, the CM emphasized the pivotal role of the younger generation. His government is expanding avenues for education, skill‑building, formal employment, and self‑employment. Dhami shared that he prefers to converse with young people as a peer rather than as a chief minister, believing that their ideas fuel his own drive.

Ensuring Fairness in Public Recruitment

Transparency in government hiring has been bolstered by a strict anti‑cheating statute, which, according to Dhami, has restored faith among earnest candidates. In the past five years, roughly 35,000 youngsters have secured positions within the state’s civil services.

Reclaiming Public Land

Efforts to protect Uttarakhand’s heritage include a massive de‑encroachment drive. To date, over 13,000 acres of government land have been liberated from illegal occupation, paving the way for development projects even in the most remote locales.

“Our goal is to bring growth to every corner of Uttarakhand while empowering its youth to realize their full potential,” Dhami asserted.
