Dehradun. The weather has again taken a turn in Uttarakhand. It rained heavily in many areas including Doon. Along with this, snowfall continues in the high altitude areas including Dhanaulti, Jaunsar Bawar. According to the State Meteorological Center, this type of weather will remain in the state for now. There is a possibility of hail and rain in four districts including Dehradun. Whereas, there may be light snowfall on the peaks.

Due to the change of weather, snowfall started in the surrounding areas including Lokhandi, one of the high peaks of Jaunsar Bawar. This is the fourth snowfall of the season in Lokhandi region. Tourists who reached Lokhandi to see the snowfall saw this beautiful view of nature from close quarters. Normal life is affected due to the severe cold in the area due to the onset of snowfall.

Rain and snowfall are also continuing in most areas of Uttarakhand. There was light sunshine on the grounds since morning on Friday. However, the hills adjoining Dehradun remained partly cloudy. In the afternoon, rain and hailstorm started in the surrounding areas including Mussoorie, which continued for about an hour, which continued for about an hour. According to Bikram Singh, director of the State Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of hail and rain in Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, and Nainital on Saturday and Sunday. Apart from this, light snowfall may occur in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar.
