Instructions to reduce the unnecessary rush of officers during district tour

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his displeasure over the number of unnecessary vehicles in his convoy and unnecessary gathering of officials. In view of their stand, the Intelligence Department has issued a circular to the police captains of all the districts in this regard, in which strict instructions have been given that no hesitation should be taken in this regard. This displeasure of the Chief Minister is being linked to his instructions for frugality.

In fact, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is on a visit to Udham Singh Nagar today, during which a car of more than a dozen officers had joined his convoy. After this development, the Chief Minister gave instructions to the officers immediately and said that the officers who are not needed should not be called unnecessarily in the programs. The officers should focus on public interest and development works by staying in their area. After this displeasure of the Chief Minister, today Intelligence has written a letter to the police captains of all the districts giving clear instructions that unnecessary vehicles should not join the convoy during the Chief Minister’s program.
