Dehradun. After the conclusion of the monsoon session, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is going to visit the disaster-prone areas. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself says that reports of damage have been received from all over the state. In view of this, I myself will visit many areas tomorrow. At the same time, all the DMs have been directed to keep the preparations complete.

Monsoon session was a bang as Chief Minister
The five-day monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly was a bang for Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Chief Minister batted fiercely from beginning to end. There were many occasions in the five-day session that the MLAs of the opposition praised CM Dhami openly. The five-day session of the Legislative Assembly was the first session of Chief Minister Dhami as Chief Minister. Since the new government is to be formed in the state before March 18, 2022, it is also being considered as the last session of the current government. In such a situation, there was a lot of pressure on Chief Minister Dhami regarding his performance during the session, but he converted this challenge into an opportunity with his strong will and work culture.

In the House, Dhami promised the police personnel that injustice would not be allowed to happen to them in the matter of grade pay. In one stroke, he announced an amount of 50 crores for about 33 thousand girls who were deprived of the amount of Nanda Gaura Kanya Dhan Yojana. On the lines of the Center, he did not make any effort to increase the DA of about three lakh state employees and pensioners of the state by 11 percent. These decisions related to the financial condition of the state show the quick decisive ability of Chief Minister Dhami. Not only this, the electricity consumers were given exemption of fixed and late charges on one-time pending payment of bills. During the session, along with an adequate presence in the House, his focus was also on the meetings of the government level.

He also gave full respect to the words of the opposition inside and outside the house. While caressing the MLAs of the opposition, who resorted to posters and slogans to accept their demands, made a serious effort to settle their demands. Calling the officers and instructed them to fulfill their demands on a priority basis. Probably for the first time in Uttarakhand a Chief Minister has taken such an initiative. Even though Dhami is handling the chief minister’s post for the first time, there was no lack of confidence and experience in him during the session.
