The auspicious time of Jalabhishek will start as soon as Krishna Chaturdashi starts at 6:45 pm, which will remain for the whole day on Wednesday. The Shivaratri coming in the month of Sawan has a special significance in itself. Monthly Shivaratri is celebrated on the 14th day of the Krishna Paksha of every month according to the Hindu calendar. Lord Shiva is considered a wise man before a destroyer. Shivratri falls on Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha every month, but Mahashivratri falls on Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Falgun month.

Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva is done on Shivratri. Apart from this, Mata Parvati, Ganesha, Kartikeya, and Nandi are worshipped. On 26th July i.e. Tuesday, an auspicious coincidence is being made on Sawan Shivratri. On this day, the auspicious and auspicious yoga of Shiva Mangal Gauri is being formed. On this Shivratri, not only the Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva will be held, but Mangala Gauri’s fast will also be observed simultaneously. There is a law to worship Goddess Parvati in Mangala Gauri Vrat. According to astrologers, the coincidence of Shivaratri and Mangala Gauri fasting in Sawan is made after years. In such a situation, not only will it be beneficial to perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva on the occasion of Sawan Shivratri, but worshiping Goddess Parvati on Mangala Gauri fast will get the blessings of both Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.

According to astrologers, Shivratri and Mangala Gauri fast coincided after years in Sawan. There is a law to do Shivaratri worship in four phases. This time, the auspicious date of Sawan Shivratri will start from 6.45 pm on 26th July according to the Lagna and will last till 9.10 pm on the night of 27th July. In this way, Lord Shiva’s Jalabhishek can be done on both the 26th and 27th of July, on the monthly Shivratri, Shiva worship and Jalabhishek will be from 6 pm to 7.30 pm.
