Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, on Thursday, more than 72 thousand new cases were registered and 459 people lost their lives from Kovid. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Thursday.

The latest data released on Thursday by the Ministry of Health has once again raised the concern of the people. There have been 72,330 new cases of corona infection with a record increase in the last 24 hours and 459 patients lost the battle of life to corona. With this, the total cases of infection in the country has increased to 1,22,21,665 and the number of deaths from Kovid has increased to 1,62,927.

116 people lost their lives after 116 days from Corona
The number of new patients is the highest in the last 172 days. Earlier on October 10, 74,418 cases were received. The death toll is also the highest in the past 116 days. Earlier on December 5, 482 people lost their lives. Let us tell you that a day before that, on Wednesday, 53,480 new corona patients were found and 354 died due to infection.

The number of active patients exceeded 5.84 lakhs
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, the graph of active cases in the country is increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 40,382 corona infected patients have returned to their homes after recovering, with 1,14,74,683 patients in the country beating the coronavirus so far. Compared to the new corona cases recorded on a daily basis, the number of cured patients has been reduced by almost half. Currently, active cases in the country have risen to 5,84,055.

Vaccination: Phase III starts from today
Explain that the world’s largest vaccination campaign is going on in the country. The third phase of vaccination has started in the country from today, under which, those above 45 years will also be given the Kovid vaccine. So far 6,51,17,896 people have been vaccinated in the country.
