Dehradun. The State Tourism, Irrigation, Religion and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj has strongly condemned the attack on the convoy of Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda and demanded to arrest and punish the attackers.

Satpal Maharaj said that the growing influence of BJP in West Bengal and the visit of Nadda Ji has shocked the TMC. Mamta is also seen sliding the ground from under her feet. TMC’s desperation and disenchantment are evident in the well-planned manner in which BJP President Nadda Ji’s convoy was attacked. Maharaj said that BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda is on a tour of Bengal these days, but the attitude of the Bengal government regarding his safety is not right. The kind of carelessness that is being done is very serious for democracy.

State Tourism Minister Maharaj said that in view of the assembly elections, the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party JP Nadda is in Kolkata on a two-day visit. He is attending many political events here. Meanwhile, JP Nadda’s convoy was pelted on his way to Diamond Harbor. Which is very unfortunate. He said that TMC workers had attacked BJP’s convoy with sticks and stones in which BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya was also injured. While BJP president JP Nadda survived the attack narrowly. Maharaj said that in the presence of the police, he strongly condemns this dastardly act of TMC goons.
