Mobile Connectivity Reached In Neeti Valley Of Chamoli District Due To Efforts Of CM Trivendra, Jio Started Two 4G Towers

Due to the efforts of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, mobile connectivity has reached the border villages of Chamoli district. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Trivendra inaugurated the Jio Tower in Juma of Niti Valley through a virtual medium. The tower is also installed at Suki by Jio. With this, people will get 4G connectivity.

Two 4G mobile towers of Reliance Jio have started in Neeti Valley bordering the Indo-Tibet border in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Reliance Jio will erect a total of 10 towers in the Neeti Valley. Work on the remaining 8 towers is also going on at a fast pace. 4G communication services will also be available to the local citizens, villagers, and army personnel living in the valley.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the mobile tower in Sugi and Jumma villages of Niti Valley. The Chief Minister was virtually participating in the special program held in Jumma village. The inauguration program also included MP Tirath Singh Rawat and Badrinath MLA Mahendra Bhatt.

It has been 25 years since mobile services started in India, but dozens of villages in the Neeti Valley were untouched by mobile services. The villagers had to travel 45 km for communication services. A large number of Army and ITBP personnel are also stationed in this valley bordering the Indo-Tibetan border. In such a situation, security agencies will also get the benefit of starting the 4G services of Jio.

Reliance Jio has become the first operator to achieve this despite difficult terrain and adverse climatic conditions. Before today, no operator could reach this border valley. In winter, this area is prone to heavy snowfall, so completing the tower installation on time is a record.

On this occasion, MLA Mahendra Bhatt expressed his gratitude to Reliance Jio for introducing 4G services and digital empowerment to the Valley.

Reliance Jio is the largest and fastest 4G network in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand has the most data on Jio’s network. Jio continues to be the undisputed market leader in Uttarakhand with 38.2 lakh subscribers 4G subscribers. Most of the major institutions, corporates, colleges, universities, hotels, hospitals, malls, and other commercial establishments are connected to the Jio network. More than 12700 villages including all tehsils, sub-tehsils of 13 districts of the state are connected with Jio.
