Dehradun. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in many districts of Uttarakhand. An alert has also been issued regarding rain, especially in the hilly districts. A yellow alert of rain has been issued by the department in many districts till July 30. After the warning of rain, the administration is also on alert mode.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, today there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar. On the other hand, heavy rains are also expected in Dehradun, Tehri, Uttarkashi, and Pauri. Very heavy rain has been predicted in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Nainital, and Chamoli on 29th and 30th.

Roads closed due to the rain became trouble for people
The rain in Uttarakhand is becoming a problem for the people. Several roads have been closed due to landslides after the rains, leaving commuters stuck in places. Traffic has come to a standstill on about eight roads in the Tehri district after the rain. Roads are also closed in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Champawat, and Almora districts due to landslides.
