The fantasy action film Bimbisaar starring Jr NTR’s half-brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is all set to hit the screens on August 5. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram will play the role of Bimbisara, the ancient Pataliputra ruler in the film. The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and written and directed by newcomer Mallidi Vashistha.

The pre-release event of the film will be held at Shilpkala Vedika in Hyderabad, and as per the latest information, Jr NTR is expected to attend the event as a special guest. When asked about the upcoming film starring Jr NTR, actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram admitted that he was under a lot of pressure as he is one of the producers of NTR 30.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, busy promoting the film, said about Bimbisaar that, with Baahubali, Prabhas had set the standard so high that the current generation expects a king to look like him.
