In Jammu and Kashmir, till now there was a tradition of separate markings and flags. With the abolition of Article 370, the government has already abolished the separate legislation, now there will not be a separate mark. The flag of Jammu and Kashmir was removed from the building of Srinagar Secretariat on Sunday.

Let me tell you that even after the removal of Article 370, both the flags were used till a few days ago. According to officials, now only the tricolor will be hoisted on all the buildings connected with the state government. With the removal of Article 370, the Indian Penal Code and the entire Constitution of India became applicable to Jammu and Kashmir as well. The separate flag of the state has been removed from the building of the Jammu and Kashmir Secretariat in Srinagar.

The security system was increased in Jammu and Kashmir, Section 144 is still in force in most areas, which is gradually being relaxed. Many prominent leaders of the state are under house arrest. It is being said that restriction can be removed from the entire state soon by talking to these leaders and taking them in confidence.
