Dehradun / New Delhi. To bring tourism back on track after the Corona transition, a meeting was held today through video conferencing with tourism ministers of all states, chaired by Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Prahlad Patel. Tourism Ministers of all the states participated in this meeting organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and expressed their views on the future strategy to compensate for the damage done to tourism during the Corona period. State Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, while expressing his views that there is great potential for tourism inside Uttarakhand, to revive tourism in Uttarakhand at a webinar held today in New Delhi under the chairmanship of the Union Tourism and Culture Minister, Mr. Prahlada Patel.

Expecting cooperation from the Government of India to improve connectivity, telecommunication, and the internet, etc. in remote areas of Uttarakhand, he said that if we could do this, then people of rural areas can avail of government schemes online. Tourism can be added along with “Make My Trip,” “Goibibo” for travel so that a large number of people can reach here. Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said that the Central Government should also spread the tourism spots of Uttarakhand widely. He said that the iconic site of Uttarakhand in which the Navagraha circuit has been built should also be widely publicized, this will benefit Uttarakhand. While giving information about Uttarakhand’s Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said that there is a huge forest area inside the state, so there is a huge potential for eco-tourism here.

Therefore, if the Union Forest Ministry and the Ministry of Tourism held a seminar, it will make it possible to track our snow-clad peaks, they will also create new standards, we can use them without damaging the Bugyalas. If it becomes possible, it will be a big achievement for us. During video conferencing, Tourism Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Satpal Maharaj said that people still have religious faith in Uttarakhand’s Bugyalas. Commercial activities have been stopped, but people who come there to worship Aanchari, fairies, and deities. All this is still valid under religious belief.

Referring to the divine circuit, Satpal Maharaj said that there are places in the Garhwal and Kumaon region of Uttarakhand where people can worship and worship Bhagwati. He informed that in the coming time, the tourism department of the state is going to build a circuit where Shakta and Vaishno. At the same time, we are also promoting Himalayan immunity-boosting food. Mr. Satpal Maharaj told during the webinar that his government has prepared menus for Himalayan immunity-boosting food in all categories of hotels, now everyone can enjoy Garhwali and Kumaoni food in these hotels. He said that people can come here and enjoy river rafting as well as before. We have started Tribal Tourism. Activities have been started by advancing the iconic temples and tourist places of the place. We want the travelers of India to reach there. But for this, we have to give exemption in the inner line, then we will have to impress somewhere.

If this happens, then people will be able to see the Shivalinga inside the Niti Valley where Timbersain Mahadev is built. While giving information, Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said that work is going on for the construction of Mahabharata Circuit, Ramayana Circuit, and the revival of Sita Mata Temple inside our state. Referring to the Chakravyuh during the Mahabharata, he said that the Chakravyuh is also shown inside Uttarakhand which includes the villages. We want the whole world to see this.
