Dehradun. The Forest Research Institute (FRI) campus will once again be opened for tourists from September 1 on the instructions of the Union Ministry of Forest, Environment, and Climate Change after the effect of Corona subsides.

Institute director Arun Singh Rawat said that in the first phase, only 100 tourists will be allowed to enter the campus every day. Tourists will have to register online to enter the campus, tour, and visit the museum. Also, the corona guidelines will have to be strictly followed.

Tourists can apply at fri.icfre.gov.in. Let us inform you that when the second wave of corona started, more than 100 scientists, officers, and employees had got corona infection in the institute premises. After this, the campus was closed for morning walkers and tourists with immediate effect on the instructions of the Director of the Institute.
