Champawat. The final results of the Champawat by-election are out. In which CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has achieved a historic victory. He got a total of 58258 votes. Congress candidate Nirmala Gahatodi got 3233 votes. Whereas SP-supported candidates got 409 votes and independent candidate Himanshu Gadkoti got 399 votes. The security of all the candidates has been forfeited before the CM. CM Dhami has registered a historic victory by 55025 votes. In the election, 62898 votes were cast by EVM and 1303 by postal ballot. After the victory of CM Dhami, there is an atmosphere of celebration in the BJP. PM Modi and CM Yogi tweeted and congratulated the victory.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated CM Pushkar Singh Dhami by tweeting on registering a historic victory in the Champawat by-election. He wrote, “Congratulations to the CM of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Dhami Ji, for the historic victory in the by-election. This victory is dedicated to the public welfare policies of the respected Prime Minister, your developmental leadership, and BJP workers’ work.
