In the bomb blast in Shopian, the Son of Uttarakhand made his supreme sacrifice
Dehradun. A soldier from Uttarakhand was killed in a bomb blast in South Kashmir’s Shopian on Thursday. While two other army personnel were injured. There has been an uproar in the village of Praveen Singh, a resident of Pandoli village of Bhilangana block, who was sacrificed in Jammu.
Soldier Praveen Singh (30) is the son of Pratap Singh Gusain, a six-year-old son. The family of the sacrificer lives in Banjarawala, Dehradun. The martyr’s father is also a former soldier. Praveen had come home on leave only last month.
The mortal remains of Praveen will be brought to Jollygrant Airport by the army on Friday at 5 pm and the last rites will be performed in his native village tomorrow.
According to the information, these soldiers had left in a private vehicle to reconnaissance the terrorists. The front of the vehicle was completely damaged and three jawans were badly injured in the blast, which took place about a kilometer away from village Seedu. Jawan Praveen Singh, who was seriously injured in the blast, died during treatment. He was originally a resident of Pandoli village of Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
