Dehradun. The result of the PCS Preliminary Examination in Uttarakhand is also in discussion this time but this time for positive reasons. The first reason, Public Service Commission declared the result in record time for the first time. Candidates did not have to wait much time for the result. The second reason, this time the exam was clean. That is, no complaints of irregularities were found in the examination. If there was doubt about a question, the action was taken immediately and the merit list was also revised immediately. The officers and officers of the commission were accused of giving employment to their relatives or loved ones, but this time the relatives of a single officer could not be appointed. The exam was completely transparent.

This was possible because this time the command of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is with Dr. Rakesh Kumar. Former IAS Rakesh Kumar is considered very honest and decent. In his three decades of bureaucratic journey, his image has been as a very honest bureaucrat from the state to the central government.

It is not that the members of the commission and the relatives of the responsible officers associated with it did not take the examination, they gave the examination but the selection could not be done. If these relatives are successful, then they will have to make a place on the basis of their merit. Because now the command of the commission is in the hands of a hard-working, clean image and very honest chairman.

452 candidates got the direct benefit of error correction

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has made changes in the results of the preliminary examination of Uttarakhand Combined State Civil Senior Subordinate Services Examination-2021. The reason for this was that the answer to a question was wrongly recorded in the examination. If the commission rectified it considering it as its mistake, 452 candidates got direct benefit from it and they were declared successful for the main examination. Confirming this, Commission Secretary Karmendra Singh said that while improving the examination results, the Commission has put it on the website of the Commission. Told that Uttarakhand Public Service Commission had released the PCS Pre Exam Result and Cutoff on 26th May. But, in Series-A, due to a clerical error in question number-150, the answer to the question was marked ‘D’ instead of ‘B’. Now correcting this mistake, the commission has released the revised answer key, revised cut-off, and new additional results from this correction.

From this result 312 for consolidated posts, three in Assistant Director Factory, one in Deputy Registrar Category-2, three in District Information Officer, one in Assistant Director Garden, seven in District Probation Officer, 97 in Deputy Education Officer, Assistant Director Sanskrit Two additional candidates have been selected for the post of Assistant Director Statistics, one in Assistant Director Chemicals, one in Assistant Director Agriculture, five in Superintendent State Certified Institution and 18 additional candidates for the posts of Child Development Project Officer.
