In Uttarakhand, exemption from the requirement of RTPCR will be available only to those who have taken both the doses of Covid vaccine. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made it clear in this regard that only those with double doses would be allowed to enter the state. Let us inform you that the state government has given this exemption in the standard operating procedure only last week.

On Friday, on a TV channel, the Chief Minister had said that the government would do away with the mandatory RTPCR for people coming from other states. He also mentioned the conversation with the officials. During the program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday, media persons asked him about the elimination of the mandatory RTPCR.

The Chief Minister said that the mandatory requirement of RTPCR in the state would end only for those taking double doses. Sources say that despite the opening of everything in the state, the government will continue the weekly Covid curfew. In the SOP issued regarding the Covid curfew, the condition of 15 days can be removed from the double dose of the Covid vaccine.
