Uttarakhand: Body of martyr soldier Vipin Singh reached home, CM Dhami paid tribute

The mortal remains of Vipin Singh, a resident of Dharkot of Pabo development block in Uttarakhand, who was martyred in Siachen, reached his native village on Tuesday. During this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the village and paid tribute to the martyr by paying floral tributes. Later the funeral of Shaheed Vipin Singh took place at his ancestral Ghat Umran Nayar river bank. The father lit him. Also, Bhai Rupesh Singh saluted him while giving his last farewell.

Chief Minister Singh Dhami consoled the families of the martyrs. He said that all possible help would be given by the state government to the family of the martyr. Said that Shaheed Vipin Singh is not only the son of a family but the son of the country. The CM announced that the road leading to the martyr’s village would be named and the Inter College after Shaheed Vipin Singh. During this, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, District Magistrate Dr. Vijay Jogdande, SSP P Renuka Devi were also present.
