Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat attended the launch of a book on freedom fighter Veer Savarkar on Tuesday. He said that at present there is a lack of correct information about Savarkar in the country. He can be properly known from the three books written about Savarkar.

Mohan Bhagwat said that since the country got independence, the campaign to defame Veer Savarkar had started. Now after this, this campaign of defamation will also be launched against the likes of Swami Vivekananda, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, and Yogi Arvind, because Veer Savarkar was very much influenced by the ideas of these three.

The RSS chief said that Savarkar’s Hindutva, Vivekananda’s Hindutva… it has become a fashion to say so. Hindutva is one, which is from the beginning and will remain the same till the end. The one who belongs to India belongs to India and its security and prestige are related to India itself. But, this is not the case with the Muslims who migrated to Pakistan at the time of Partition.
