Two Indian teams will leave for England, and Ireland together
New Delhi. Like last year, this year also the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is preparing to send different teams on two mutual tours. India has to play a Test against England from July 1, for which the team will leave on June 16, while on June 26 and 28, the Indian team also has to play two T20 matches against Ireland.
While sharing this information, Cricbuzz said that the Indian team coach Rahul Dravid is overseeing the selection process for the mutual tours of Ireland and England in collaboration with the BCCI management and the selection committee.
It is noteworthy that after playing two T20 matches from Ireland, the Indian white-ball team will leave for England where it will play two warm-up matches against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire on July 1 and July 3. Before this, the Indian Test team also has to play a four-day warm-up match against Leicestershire.
