Cabinet may give a green signal for Haridwar’s three-tier panchayat elections

Dehradun. The cabinet meeting is going to be held on Wednesday 27th July under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This meeting will be held in the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali auditorium of Vishwa Karma Bhawan located in the Secretariat from 5 pm. Sources said that up to two dozen proposals can come to the meeting. The cabinet can give a green signal to the Haridwar three-tier panchayat elections.

The High Court has ordered the state government to hold elections before October. Earlier these elections could not be held due to Kumbh and Covid and now Kavand. Along with this, many important proposals like e-vehicle and e-charging policy, recommendation of cabinet sub-committee regarding outsourced employees in government hospitals, amendment in the nursing manual, etc. can be stamped.
