Minister angry at water fort in Kot Malla, officer rebuked

Satpuli. State Tourism, Irrigation Minister, and Regional MLA Satpal Maharaj today announced the 70-meter span steel truss motor bridge on Kota Malla to Kota Talla, Kandia, Kulasu, Rithakhal Motor Road, and Vadda Chaud under PMGSY in Jaiharikhal Development Block, Chaubattakhal. Addressing the regional public and departmental officers during the foundation stone program, local MLA and cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj said that connectivity will be made easier by the construction of this motor bridge. He said that earlier one had to go through Pauri via Rikhanikhal Lansdowne. But after the construction of this bridge, the distance will be reduced easily. He said that a separate feeder will be ready at Malla Badarpur by April, which will also solve the electricity problem of this area.

Maharaj said that on the one hand, by taking advantage of the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali scheme, youth can do a variety of business work, on the other hand, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay can apply to the tourism department to make a homestay under the Home Stay Scheme. He said that he assures that the tourism department will cooperate with him in all possible ways. He informed that the Central Government provides funds for the construction of the new Gul under PMG KY. But our problem is that we lack land. Therefore, we have demanded from the Center that funds should be provided to us for the repair of old properties.

Maharaj told that the Union Minister has assured him that he will consider it soon. Cabinet Ministers Satpal Maharaj, who spoke to the officials present at the foundation ceremony, said that you are a public servant, you should pick up the phone of the public. Party workers should be respected by officials. He directed the officers of the Public Works Department that the Satuli, Dudhakhal Motor Road, and other roads, whose condition is very poor, should be repaired quickly. State Tourism, Irrigation, and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj, who reached his assembly constituency Chaubattakhal after visiting Kumaon, also requested the regional people to give the maximum amount of money by visiting the Suriram Janmabhoomi temple construction dedication fund in Satpuli.

During the field visit, while another Maharaj laid the foundation stone of schemes worth crores of rupees in his constituency, at the same place, the Bharatiya Janata Party workers and local people gave him a tremendous welcome from Dhol Damau. During this time, he also met the party workers and listened to their problems, and solved the problems by giving directions to the officers on the spot. Not only this, he warned the officials who lax in the work and said that no laxity will be tolerated in the development works.

When villagers present in Court Malla told about the problem of water in the village in front of them, Shri Maharaj immediately lashed out at the Jal Sansthan official to ensure the provision of drinking water in the area as well as a reprimand. He said that if the villagers were not provided water immediately, they would be forced to take action against them. Maharaj also gave necessary instructions to PWD officials for connectivity on Dhandhauli, Mouli, Pasta motorways.
