New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the rebuilt complex of Jallianwala Bagh Memorial in Amritsar, Punjab, through video conferencing today. According to the information given by the Prime Minister’s Office, today at 6:25 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the new complex of Jallianwala Bagh to the nation through video conferencing. On this special occasion, PM Modi will also inaugurate the museum gallery built in the new premises of Jallianwala Bagh.

Let us inform you that the reconstructed complex of Jallianwala Bagh Memorial was to be inaugurated on 13th April this year to commemorate the completion of 102 years of this massacre, but due to the Corona epidemic, this program had to be postponed.

It has been told by the Prime Minister’s Office that on this special occasion, Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State for Culture, Governors and Chief Ministers of Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, all Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs and members of Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust will be present.

What will be special in Jallianwala Bagh Memorial?
Four music galleries have been set up in the new premises of Jallianwala Bagh Memorial. The historical value of the events that happened in Punjab has been shown in all these galleries. Audio and video techniques have been used while preparing the gallery. Projection mapping and 3D have also been used in this.

The light and sound show has also been used to show the incident at Jallianwala Bagh on April 13, 1919. People still tremble remembering the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It was on this day that the British army opened fire at a peaceful gathering of protesters, in which more than 1000 people were killed and hundreds were injured.

The Shaheedi well has been repaired. According to the PMO, the heart of the garden, the Jwala memorial, has been renovated. The water body has been rejuvenated as a lily pond and routes have been widened for better navigation.

Several new and modern features have been added, including redefining paths of movement with appropriate signs, lighting of strategic locations, and audio throughout the garden with plantings.
