The state government has received in-principle approval from the Center to construct the Modi Trail in Jim Corbett National Park. The tourism department will develop this eight-kilometer route. In Corbett, trained guides will follow PM Modi and Bayer Grylls of ‘Man vs Wild’ to those following the footprints of PM Modi. They will also get other information through the mobile app.
Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj told the media in the assembly that the tourism department has started working on the Modi Trail. Its in-principle approval has been received from the central government.

The adventure journey of PM Modi and Bayer Grylls in Corbett was broadcast by Discovery Channel on August 8. The broadcast was also well received. Around eight kilometers of PM Modi shown in the broadcast has been named as Modi Trail.

An Android app will also be produced in Corbett on the lines of the highly popular Games of Thrones. Through this, tourists will be able to get information about the entire trail. According to Maharaj, he recently visited Croatia. There he saw that an app has been developed on where the games of thrones were shot. This will be done for the Modi Trail here.

Modi was seen crossing a river in the Bayer Grylls telecast. Forest Minister Harak Singh says that due to being a protected area, tourists will not be allowed to use the boat. Those places would definitely be developed where PM landed in the river.

The tourism department also plans to link the meditation cave of Corbett and Kedarnath in the name of Modi Trail. The PM meditated for 15 hours in the Dhyan cave and after that, the popularity of this cave increased considerably. It is being considered to connect this trail through air services.
