Dehradun. On 6 February in Uttarakhand Pt. Under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Cooperative Farmers Welfare Scheme, 25 thousand farmers will be given loans of 3 lakhs without interest and 5 lakh loans to groups. This program will be organized at the development block level of the state as well as the state headquarters. At the state level, the Chief Minister will launch the scheme on the ground near the Kisan Bhawan in Dehradun.

In this regard, the program was finalized in a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Saturday. The Chief Minister said that farmers’ interest is paramount for us. The state government has taken several welfare measures in the interest of farmers. Providing loans of up to 3 lakh to farmers without interest will definitely benefit them and their economy will get further strengthened. The Chief Minister said that providing loans of up to 5 lakhs without interest to farmers groups will give a boost to agriculture and agriculture. He asked to organize this event in a comprehensive manner so that the maximum number of farmers and groups can take advantage of it.

Cooperative Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and departmental officers were present in the meeting held at CM residence. In the meeting, the outline of loan disbursement was decided in the district headquarters and block headquarters. Besides, the responsibility of local MLAs and people’s representatives was also ensured in the district and block headquarters. Cooperative Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat informed that in a program organized in the ground near Kisan Bhawan on Ring Road, the Chief Minister will distribute checks of up to 3 lakh checks to about 250 farmers of the district at zero interest rate, while in other districts of the district, district headquarters and The schedule of check distribution has been set at the block headquarters. The special feature of this program is that the loan disbursement program by the Chief Minister from Dehradun will be able to be seen live by farmers and workers directly through NIC centers in district headquarters and SWAN centers in block headquarters.

Simultaneously, checks will be distributed by local MPs, regional MLAs, and accountants to the respective beneficiaries at each block headquarters and district headquarters. In order to ensure the participation of public representatives in the district and block headquarters, a list has been prepared, which will be communicated to the concerned officers of the Cooperative Department. Secretary RK Sudhanshu, R Minakshi Sundaram, Radhika Jha, Director General Information Dr. Meharban Singh Bisht, Additional Secretary Bandana, Director ITDA Amit Sinha, etc. were present in the meeting.
