US President Donald Trump has once again hoped to help with the supply of hydroxychloroquine medicine from India. Addressing the media, he said that I had spoken to Prime Minister Modi on this issue on Sunday morning. If they allow the supply of medicine, we will appreciate their move. It doesn’t matter if they don’t cooperate but expect a similar response from us.

Trump said that India has been taking advantage of US trade regulations for many years, and would be surprised if New Delhi prohibits the export of hydroxychloroquine.

He said, ‘If this is his decision, I would be surprised. They have to tell me about it. I spoke to him on Sunday morning, called him, and I said we would appreciate it if you would let the supply happen. If they do not allow it, then it does not matter, but apparently it can be reacted. Why shouldn’t there be? ‘

A senior US State Department official said on Monday that India had been a major ally of the United States in the pharmaceutical sector and that the United States hoped that the two countries would continue the coordination.

India banned the export of hydroxychloroquine last month, while Trump is strongly advocating the drug for the treatment of coronavirus infection. India has received similar requests from many other countries including its neighboring countries like Sri Lanka and Nepal. India has said that it is reviewing its export ban order.

Let us tell you that with more than three lakh confirmed cases of coronavirus infection and more than 10,000 deaths, America has also emerged as a badly affected country. No treatment has been found so far for this virus.

Now scientists of America and the world are working day and night to find a vaccine or an exact cure against this virus so that people’s lives can be saved. So far, more than 64,000 people have died in the world due to this epidemic. At the same time, 11 lakh 53 thousand 142 are infected.

Trump administration is emphasizing the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus, based on some preliminary results. This medicine has been used in the treatment of malaria for decades. With immediate approval from the US Food and Drug Administration last Saturday, approximately 1,500 Corona patients are being treated in New York using a malaria drug in conjunction with some other drug.

According to Trump, there are positive results of the drug. He told reporters that if it succeeds, it will be like a gift from heaven. Over the next several weeks, US health experts estimate one million to two million deaths due to the coronavirus.

In the hope of being a successful drug in the treatment of coronavirus, the US has already stocked about 29 million doses. In this context, Trump has requested Modi to release millions of doses of hydroxychloroquine to the US. India produces this medicine on a large scale.
