Dehradun. There will be a vigilance inquiry into the corruption, wrong recruitment, and irregularities in Uttarakhand Ayurved University. On Wednesday, the government issued orders in this regard. Earlier, the government had constituted a four-member inquiry committee under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Personnel, which is investigating.

For the past several years, Ayurveda University has been in discussions about financial irregularities, corruption, and irregularities in appointments. In August last year, Additional Secretary Rajendra Singh had sought a point-wise investigation report of all the allegations from the Registrar of the University. After this, in April, Additional Secretary Rajendra Singh constituted a four-member inquiry committee under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Personnel SS Valdiya.

Additional Secretary Finance Amita Joshi, Joint Director Ayurvedic and Unani Krishna Singh Napalchyal, and Audit Officer Rajat Mehra were also members of the inquiry committee. This inquiry committee is conducting its own investigation. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the government issued orders for vigilance inquiry into all the cases of Ayurveda University. Secretary Personnel Shailesh Bagoli confirmed the issue of the Vigilance Inquiry Order.

Detailed information regarding promotion and payment of ACP to Sanskrit teachers, removal and banning of advertisements for recruitment to various posts on behalf of the university repeatedly without the permission of the government, and formation of committees constituted by the university for recruitment to various posts.
