In view of the assembly general election 2022 in Rudraprayag district, the voting has been successfully completed on 14th February 2022. All the polling parties that left for a total of 361 polling booths in the district have reached Agastyamuni, the sports ground.

In the presence of the concerned returning officers (07 Kedarnath Vidhan Sabha, 08 Rudraprayag Vidhan Sabha), District Magistrate Rudraprayag, and Superintendent of Police Rudraprayag, all EVM machines have been kept in separate 02 rooms ie strong room, built-in multipurpose worm complex Agastyamuni.

A three-tier security cordon has been made for the security of the strong room. In whose inner card 01 platoon Central Paramilitary Force ie ITBP has been installed. In the second security circle, IRB personnel and in the third security circle, district police personnel have been deployed.

In view of security, one fire tender has also been continuously arranged outside the multipurpose sports building complex and a control room has been set up by setting up static wireless sets and an officer-in-charge has been deployed for monitoring the control room and CCTV. In view of the security of the strong room, Shri Prabodh Kumar Ghildiyal, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rudraprayag has been made the nodal officer. For whose assistance Shri Rajiv Chauhan Police Station Officer Agastyamuni will also be appointed.

The duty related to strong room security will continue 24×7 till the next 10th March i.e. till the date of counting of votes. Briefed and directed to discharge their duties.
