Dehradun. The Uttarakhand government has made it clear that there is no lockdown in the state. After a video went viral on social media, rumors about the lockdown had started spreading in the state, but in view of the ever-increasing cases of corona infection, the government has taken a tough stand. Violation of the rules governing the prevention of Kovid-19, along with penalty, will also be filed.

According to Chief Secretary Om Prakash, those who are seen to be willfully violating the rules will be booked under the Kovid Pandemic Act. There is a continuous increase in the cases of corona in the state. On Friday, 364 coronas have been found infected. The number of corona infections was 500 on Thursday.
