Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh to Indian women’s hockey team player Vandana Kataria. The Chief Minister said that we are proud that Uttarakhand’s daughter Vandana Kataria has contributed immensely to the stellar performance of the Indian women’s hockey team in the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that a new and attractive sports policy will be implemented in Uttarakhand. In this policy, there will be a provision of suitable economic incentives especially for developing international level talent among our youth. It will be our endeavor that lamps of talents like Vandana should be lit in every corner of the state.
