Defense Minister will come to Uttarakhand on October 1

Dehradun. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Peethsain on October 1 on the death anniversary of Peshawar massacre hero and freedom fighter Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali. Union Defense Minister Vir Chandra Singh will pay tribute by unveiling a statue and dedicating a memorial in his memory in his native village of Garhwali. Along with this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will distribute checks of an interest-free loan of five lakh rupees to women self-groups under the State Government-run Deendayal Upadhyay Yojana under the Department of Cooperation.

Under the aegis of Rath Development Agency, Ghasiyari Kalyan Yojana will be launched and will also give Ghasiyari kits to the local rural women. Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the Union Defense Minister will also launch the Ghasiyari Kalyan Yojana, which is being run under the Rath Development Agency. Under this scheme, there is a plan to distribute Ghassari kits to 25 thousand rural women of the area.

Which includes two hoe, two sickles, rope, a tiffin box, a water bottle and a kit bag. Rural women will be able to use them as per their needs during their day-to-day life. Apart from this, under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Yojna under the Department of Cooperation, the Defense Minister will distribute interest-free loan checks up to Rs.5 lakh to women groups. So that women can give impetus to their self-employment at the local level.
