Congress National General Secretary Harish Rawat Will Fast on September 1 on The Issue of Unemployment
Congress national general secretary Harish Rawat will now protest against the state government on the issue of unemployment. Harish also connected with the youth through a webinar on this issue. Claiming two lakh hits on the Facebook page, he said that this also shows how hot the unemployment issue is in the state.
In the webinar, Rawat said that new recruitments are not happening in the state and there are many problems in self-employment too. This crisis of unemployment has deepened in the Corona period. On September 1, Rawat announced to keep a fast on the issue and said that it is not a political fight in any way but a fight for the livelihood of the youth. Rawat said that he will talk to the state government himself in this matter.
In the webinar, the youth took up the case of the Forest Guard recruitment examination and said that the matter was hanging in the name of investigation. Nearly one and a half lakh youths had applied for recruitment of more than 1700 forest guards in the state. SIT investigation is being done in this examination when a case of rigging in the examination comes to the fore.
Some youths also said that only after the formation of a secretariat in Garsain, the matter of employment will come out in front of the government completely. The youth associated with the IT sector said that GI tags should be in place for local products. In the webinar, the B.Ed trained unemployed said that if they are not appointed, they will be forced to agitate.
