According to meteorologists, due to the active Western Disturbance in the state where there is a full possibility of snowfall along with heavy rains in the next 24 hours in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh. On the other hand, in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Udhamsinghnagar, and Haridwar, there is every possibility of rain along with hailstorms and lightning. In view of heavy rain and snowfall, along with issuing a yellow alert by the Meteorological Department, instructions have been given to the government, government, and district administration officials to remain alert.

According to Meteorologist Vikram Singh, there is every possibility of heavy rains, landslides due to snowfall, and avalanches in the mountainous areas, in such a situation, the officials of the government, administration, and district administration need to be alert.
