According to meteorologists, due to the active Western Disturbance in the state where there is a full possibility of snowfall along with heavy rains in the next 24 hours in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Pithoragarh. On the other hand, in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Udhamsinghnagar, and Haridwar, there is every possibility of rain along with hailstorms and lightning. In view of heavy rain and snowfall, along with issuing a yellow alert by the Meteorological Department, instructions have been given to the government, government, and district administration officials to remain alert.

According to Vikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, once again due to the activation of Western Disturbance in the entire state, there is a possibility of snowfall along with heavy rains in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh. Whereas in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, and Haridwar, there is a possibility of rain along with hailstorms and lightning.

Due to rain as well as snowfall in the high Himalayan regions, there is every possibility of cold waves from the plains to the mountains. According to Meteorologist Vikram Singh, there is every possibility of heavy rains, landslides due to snowfall, and avalanches in the mountainous areas, in such a situation, the officials of the government, administration, and district administration need to be alert.

On the other hand, due to the change in weather, the rain was seen in the hilly areas as well as in the plains. According to the report released by the Meteorological Department, 12.5 mm of rain was recorded in Satpuli, 4.5 mm in Kotdwar, 4.5 mm in Thalisain, 3.5 mm in Lansdowne, 3.5 mm in Raiwala of Dehradun.
