The Indian Air Force has confirmed the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat. 13 people including his wife Madhulika Rawat have died in the accident. Today his helicopter was a victim of an accident in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. His wife Madhuilka Rawat was also aboard.

The Air Force tweeted that CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, and 11 Army personnel have died in the helicopter crash.

Rajnath expressed grief
Apart from this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also condoled the death of CDS Rawat. Deeply saddened by the demise of CDS Rawat and his wife and 11 other officers in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu, he tweeted.
