Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while taking a progress meeting of self-employment schemes at the Secretariat on Tuesday, directed the officers that the target of giving loans under various schemes this year should be completed by December 15, 2021. The concerned departmental officers and bankers should establish mutual coordination and complete the target in any case. He directed all the district magistrates to review the progress of loans being given under various schemes every week.

The Chief Minister said that people should be informed about various public welfare schemes being run by the Central and State Governments through various means. The general public should be aware of the loans being given under various schemes. For this, a campaign should be launched by the district magistrates and bank officials. The loan problem of people should be solved in one place, district level officers and bank officials should solve public problems through camps.

The Chief Minister directed the officers that along with completing the set target by December 15, 2021, efforts should be made to sanction more loans than the target in the schemes in which more applications are being received. Strict action should also be taken against those who raise unnecessary objections. The entire loan process should be done by the banks within a week of receipt of the application. It should be ensured that the benefits of the schemes reach the people on time. Don’t have to go to the office unnecessarily.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the officers that the targets raised under the Chief Minister’s Self Employment Scheme should also be completed on time. The District Magistrate should continuously coordinate with the bankers to monitor the status of loan approval under Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana.
