Dehradun. The full impact of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s letter was seen in today’s decisions of Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri has constituted a committee of three member experts in the matter of scams in assembly recruitments. This committee will give the inquiry report of the recruitments done in the Vidhan Sabha within a month. The committee included former IAS officer DK Kotia as chairman, Surendra Singh Rawat, and Avanindra Singh as members. On the other hand, Assembly Secretary Mukesh Singhal has been sent on long leave till the investigation, but he will be present to cooperate with the inquiry committee.

Welcoming the decision of the Speaker, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has welcomed the decision of the Speaker to constitute a Special Inquiry Committee to inquire into the allegations of alleged irregularities in the recruitments made in the Vidhan Sabha. The Chief Minister said that I have full faith that this inquiry committee will clarify every fact related to the subject. Our government is committed to corruption-free Uttarakhand.

The Speaker said that the dignity of the assembly has been hurt due to back door recruitments. Therefore, strict action will be taken against the culprits. He said that I will make whatever changes have to be made. He assured of proper investigation. Said that I will neither eat nor let me eat. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri sealed the chamber of the Secretary Assembly. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri said that strict action will be taken on whatever facts will come to the fore regarding the recruitment in the inquiry report. The inquiry committee will examine the appointments made in the assembly from the year 2012 to 2022. Along with this, the service rules of Uttar Pradesh were in force for recruitments in the Vidhan Sabha till 2000 and 2011. If needed, the expert committee will also examine it.
