The state’s Tourism, Culture, Religion, and Irrigation Minister Satpal Maharaj welcomed the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep the Kumbh symbolic in the wake of the Corona crisis, to visit the pilgrims, saints, and tourists from Haridwar Mahakumbh and other states on Chardham Yatra Following the Covid rules, everyone is requested to take the vaccine, stating that the cartridge-based nucleic acid amplification test (CBNAAT), reverse transcription polymers chain reaction test (RTPCR) and TV diagnosis test (TRUENAT) are mandatory So that the whole country will be healthy along with us.

Satpal Maharaj said that we heartily welcome those saints who want to carry out the entire tradition of Kumbh. But at the same time I want to say that in the Kumbh bath of April 27 and 30, all must follow body distance, mask, and a sanitizer, following the Covid rules. Culture Minister Maharaj said that the Kumbh Snan of Dev Dolis to be held at Mahakumbh in Haridwar will be organized at the scheduled time, following the Covid rules. He told that in this context, he has held talks with the Chief Minister of the state. In this event too, social distancing, mask, and sanitizer will be mandatory.

Satpal Maharaj said that the government is fully prepared for the Chardham Yatra. All three tests including CBNAAT, TRVENAT, and RTPCR have been made mandatory to comply with COVID rules. Whoever comes to Uttarakhand from other provinces, it is necessary to get this test done. He said that passengers coming on Chardham Yatra will be registered online and after all types of inquiries, the yatra will be allowed.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that after talking to the Rawals, the Char Dham Yatra has been fully reviewed. Further, under the leadership of Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat ji, we will review it from time to time, so that the doors of the temples can be opened in a timely manner and the devotees can also avail the darshan according to our dignity and tradition. Maharaj said that the passengers will be allowed to come to Uttarakhand as per the capacity prescribed in view of Chardham Yatra.
