Congratulations to the district administration for the successful organization of the first adventure sports festival held in Nayar Valley
Dehradun. Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj has said that Uttarakhand is the most suitable and important place in the country in terms of tourism. It is the endeavor of the government to conduct tourism activities throughout the year.
Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj congratulated the district administration for successfully organizing the first 4-day adventure sports festival at Nayar Valley in Bilkhet (Satpuli) Pauri Garhwal, saying that the state has immense potential for adventure sports. Uttarakhand is an excellent place for adventure and adventure sports. It is our endeavor that we can provide employment to the local people by conducting adventure tourism activities throughout the year, besides other tourism activities.
Welcoming the announcement of Paragliding Academy by the Chief Minister in Nayar Valley, Shri Satpal Maharaj said that on one hand it will give a boost to adventure sports, and on the other hand it will also provide opportunities for the youth of the state to get connected with employment. He said that the construction of Satpuli and Khaira Sain lake is also in the priorities of the government. He expressed hope that the Chief Minister of the state will soon pave the way for the construction of these lakes.
Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said that from the very beginning, it has been an effort to work for providing year-round employment to the local people by continuously conducting adventure tourism activities in the Nayar Valley along with the state. Keeping this in view, recently the foundation stone of the Tourist Accommodation House was also laid in Satpuli. He said that after organizing the first Nayar Valley Adventure Sports Festival, we are definitely showing success in our cause.
Shri Maharaj said that the State Tourism Department is working with full vigor for adventure sports like rafting, kayaking, and paragliding. Constant efforts are being made in the direction of finding new tourist places in the state and for their planned development. We have worked in the opportunity to resist the bottlenecks caused by Kovid in the tourism sector. The situation is improving rapidly.
