Dehradun. The State Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj has been given the responsibility of the Bharatiya Janata Party High Command as a star campaigner in the assembly elections in West Bengal.

State’s Tourism, Irrigation, Culture and Religion Minister Satpal Maharaj was instructed by Bharatiya Janata Party’s organization general secretary BL Santoshi to go as a star campaigner in the West Bengal assembly election campaign. Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel, who is responsible for the BJP’s election campaign in North Bengal, came to Satpal Maharaj’s ashram in Siliguri and made a detailed discussion on the party’s agenda in North Bengal, informing him of the decision of the High Command.

He told Maharaj that the BJP’s vision for change in North Bengal, including the establishment of an AIIMS in North Bengal, the establishment of a central university in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources, tea gardens in the area, Cincona Gardens, for the residents living in the forest In addition to ensuring rights like Parija Patta, raising wages for tea plantation workers to Rs 350 per day, to ensure 100% safe drinking water in all households through every household water by 2024, Bagdogra Airport has been given a boost to tourism.
