Dehradun. Uttarakhand has received more than 7500 Remedesivir injections. The consignment reached Uttarakhand from Ahmedabad on the state plane late Tuesday. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat says that there will be no shortage of Remedesivir injection in the state now.

The Chief Minister said that the state plane was sent to Ahmedabad on Tuesday morning given the lack of Remedesvir injection. This special aircraft of the state government arrived in Uttarakhand late at night with a consignment of Remedesvir injection.

After the arrival of this consignment from Ahmedabad, the Chief Minister said that Kovid 19 will have a sufficient quota for this injection for treatment after infection. The Chief Minister has also ordered the Health Department to spend an adequate amount of injections to all districts. He said that no state resident suffering from corona infection should be deficient in Remedesivir injection.

It was told that in the last three days only about 11 thousand Remedesivir injections have been supplied in Uttarakhand. Last Saturday, 3500 Remedicivir injections were supplied in Uttarakhand. In the next 24 hours, Uttarakhand will get a further supply of 2000 Remadecivir injections.

Sanitization is done in an 11 lakh square meter area
At the state level, a massive sanitation campaign is going on in all corporations, municipalities, and civic bodies in the war going on from Corona. Under this, 11 lakh square meters area was sanitized across the state on Tuesday.

Vinod Kumar Suman, the nodal officer of the sanitization campaign, said that on Tuesday, 1360 employees from across the state participated in the work of sanitization. Awareness was driven to 551 vehicles, while 416 loudspeakers were used to protect against Kovid.

He said that sanitation was done in 11 lakh square meters of public space, markets, parks, parking, bus stands, taxi stands, crowded areas. It used 4644-liter sanitizers. Apart from this, 2741 kg bleaching powder was sprayed in different areas.
