Dehradun. Garasain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand, whose dreams were tired after seeing the dream of the people of this state, is the joy of the fulfillment of that dream celebrated like this? If we assess the development of the entire state, Chamoli is a district of mountain districts in which maximum development work is being done, because Garsain is a part of this district and a huge amount of 25000 crores will be spent on development works in the surrounding area. If it is, then there is no justification for such movement here about development.

Some people are saying that for several days hundreds of people have been agitating for the widening of a road in the Ghat but when the government did not pay attention to their demand, they had to take the path of protest. How appropriate is it to protest against the cold plains of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand by stonewalling like Kashmir?

In Chamoli itself, the pain of the Raini disaster has not subsided yet and the people here are throwing stones at the policemen who risked their lives and played a leading role in the rescue operations.

When the Chief Minister has already announced in the context of the demand of the agitators, then how justice is it to throw stones at the policemen under the guise of mothers and sisters? Who are those people and why are they doing such incidents by provoking the innocent people of the mountain?

Our policemen should be praised for the fact that they performed their duty with full restraint while being injured and dispersed the unruly mob by slapping sticks on the ground. If the lathis were crowded here, dozens of people would have been admitted to hospitals. Changing freedom of expression to freedom of violence has become a new pastime nowadays which is extremely dangerous for the whole society and its development.
