Dehradun. State Tourism, Irrigation, and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj said that Dharmanagari Haridwar is the spiritual and cultural capital of the country. Therefore, along with banning slot houses here, it is very important to free the rural areas of the district from the authority.

State Tourism, Irrigation, and Culture Minister Satpal Maharaj have said that Kumbh city Haridwar is an important center of faith and cultural heritage of the world. It is against the traditions of Sanatan Dharma to think about the construction of the slot house at such a holy place. Therefore, I request that the slot house in Haridwar be banned with immediate effect.

Minister in charge of Haridwar Satpal Maharaj has said that the BJP MLAs of Haridwar have also submitted a letter to the Chief Minister of the state Trivendra Singh Rawat in protest against the Slaughter House and demanded its closure. Maharaj said that there is no justification for the construction of a slotter house in Haridwar, a center of religious faith. Therefore, keeping in view the demand of the local BJP MLAs and the spiritual sentiments of the saintly Mahatmas, its construction should be stopped immediately.

Not only this, but Satpal Maharaj also said that for the effective implementation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development agenda in the rural areas of Haridwar, it is very important that all the panchayats of the district be freed from the authority.
