Dehradun. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani appreciated the women’s power in Uttarakhand. The women of Uttarakhand also presented their experience and present status to the Union Minister.

On Monday, in the pilgrimage city of Kashi, Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani reviewed the achievements of the Ministry of Women and Child Development for eight years.

Apart from Uttarakhand, officials from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttar Pradesh, civil society organizations, and beneficiaries of central schemes participated in this program. The Union Minister praised the women’s power in Uttarakhand. Said that Childline is being coordinated with Khoya Paya Portal and Police Helpline.

After this, the social organizations of Uttarakhand told about the inputs of preschool, monitoring, and capacity building in Anganwadi centers through girl education and parental guidance programs. Maneka Chauhan, a housewife of Salempur village in Haridwar, told about the benefits of the central government’s vaccination and child development schemes to the Prime Minister, Mother Vandana, Anganwadi Take Home Ration, and her son Anant. Dehradun-based woman entrepreneur Kamalpreet Kaur spoke about her journey from a homemaker to an entrepreneur through a Mudra loan.
